I just realized that Nine Inch Nails - Ghosts I-IV did not appear in the top albums for the year, which is a bit strange. That's where NIN picked up such a huge windfall over every other artist played this year. So, by the numbers, that should certainly be the top album for the year.

One of the things I find really interesting is that, while I would certainly say Worlds Collide is my favorite album for the past year, I think "I don't Care" is one of my least liked tracks off it. It's good, I just don't care for it as much as some of the others.

Agreed. I noticed that as well and I have an answer for that observation: dumb luck.

I have a not-entirely-accurately named "Metal" play list that includes this album that I'll listen to during WoW raids. In addition to all of the complete album plays that track gets credit for, it also turned out to be, quite randomly, one of the most frequently selected tracks on shuffle from that play list.

Coincidentally, that play list is also the reason why Megadeth - One Night In Buenos Aries ranked so high on the album chart.
